Connectors and reusable subflows

Reuse building blocks across automations.

When to use this. Several workflows use the same connection or repeated set of steps.

What you’ll need. A working flow and a clearly bounded reusable section.

  1. Save a connector

Configure a reusable connection for the external service. Give it a name that identifies the service and business account.

  2. Extract repeated work

Move a repeated group of steps into a subflow so several flows can call the same logic.

  3. Move reusable logic carefully

Use subflow import and export when moving logic between accounts or environments. Review service connections and environment-specific values after import.

  4. Test dependent flows

When changing a shared connector or subflow, test the workflows that use it so an update does not interrupt another process.

How to know it worked

The shared component works in each dependent flow after a controlled test.
