Put your chatbot on your website

Choose an inline, popup, or bubble embed and add the snippet to your site.

When to use this. You want visitors to chat on your website instead of on a standalone link.

What you’ll need. A published chatbot and permission to edit the website.

  1. Publish first

The embed options appear in the Share tab only after the chatbot is published. Until then the tab asks you to publish your bot first.

  2. Choose where it appears

Standard shows the chat in a box on the page; set its width and height, for example 100% and 100vh to fill the page. Popup opens the chat over the page after a delay or a click. Bubble adds a chat button in the corner, with an optional preview message.

  3. Choose your platform

Pick your platform for step-by-step instructions: HTML & Javascript, Script, Iframe, React, Nextjs, Wordpress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Framer, Google Tag Manager, Notion, or FlutterFlow. Copy the snippet for the embed type you chose.

  4. Pass values from the page

To start with information you already know, pass variable values in the embed code as prefilled variables, or in the link’s query parameters.

  5. Test on the live page

Open the page on desktop and mobile. Check the size, that the chat opens, and that a test conversation reaches Results. If you set allowed websites in Settings, confirm the page’s address is on the list.

How to know it worked

The chatbot opens on the live page, and a test conversation appears in Results.
