What people see when they open your form
Walk the respondent's path so you can answer questions about it.

When to use this. A customer has asked what happens when they open your link, or you want to check the experience before sharing it.
What you’ll need. A published form and its public link.
Open your own link as a stranger
Open the public link in a private window while signed out. This is the only reliable way to see what a respondent sees — previewing from inside the builder skips the access rules.
Expect a gate if you set one
A password-protected form asks for the password before showing any questions. A scheduled form shows your closed message outside its window instead of the form. A form with CAPTCHA asks them to pass it before submitting.
Check how the questions behave
Conditional fields appear and disappear as answers change, required fields block submission, and a multi-page form lets people move back and forth before they commit.
Check the finish
After submitting they see your thank-you message, or get redirected to a URL you chose. You can also show the confirmation on the same page instead of navigating away, and choose where on the page it appears.
Check what lands in their inbox
If you enabled an auto-response they receive a branded confirmation, optionally with a PDF of their answers attached. Read it on a phone, which is where most people open it.
How to know it worked
