Your profile, password, and two-factor

Look after the settings that belong to you rather than to the account.

When to use this. You are securing your own login, or your name is showing incorrectly to recipients.

What you’ll need. A Formbot sign-in and an authenticator app if you are enabling two-factor.

  1. Open your settings

Go to Settings. This area is personal — it follows you across every account you belong to, unlike Account Management, which applies to one workspace.

  2. Update your profile

On the Profile tab, set the name and details your colleagues and recipients see on shared resources, comments, and signing invitations.

  3. Change your password

Change your password from the same tab. You will be asked to confirm your current password first.

  4. Turn on two-factor authentication

Enable two-factor authentication and scan the code with an authenticator app. Store the recovery codes somewhere you can reach without your phone — they are the only way back in if you lose the device.

  5. Check the sign-in methods you can use

If an account administrator has restricted sign-in methods, the options available to you change per account. Ask the administrator if the method you expect is missing.

How to know it worked

Your details are correct everywhere they appear, and a second factor is required at sign-in.
