Save a signature you can reuse

Draw your signature once instead of redrawing it on every document.

When to use this. You sign documents often and redraw your signature every time.

What you’ll need. A Formbot sign-in.

  1. Open your settings

Go to Settings → Signature. This is personal to you, not to the account, so it follows you into every account you belong to.

  2. Create your signature

Draw, type, or upload your signature. Drawing with a trackpad rarely looks good — a phone or tablet gives a far better result, and an uploaded scan of a real signature is better still.

  3. Save it

Save the signature. It is now offered whenever you sign a document yourself rather than asking you to start from scratch.

  4. Use it when signing

Open a document that needs your signature. Your saved signature is offered as a choice; you can still draw a fresh one for any individual document.

  5. Update it when it changes

Return to Settings → Signature to replace it. Documents already signed keep the signature that was applied at the time.

How to know it worked

Your saved signature is offered whenever you sign, on desktop and mobile.
