Control how your team signs in

Allow or block password, Google, and Microsoft sign-in for the whole account.

Open this guide in the help center →

When to use this. Your organization requires everyone to sign in with a single work identity.

What you’ll need. Owner or admin access, and confirmation that everyone can use the method you are keeping.

  1. Open Team Access

Go to Account Management → Manage Account → Team Access, then find Sign-In Methods.

  2. Decide which methods to allow

Password, Google, and Microsoft each have a switch. Switching one off stops anyone in this account from using it, which is how you enforce a single corporate identity provider.

  3. Keep at least one method on

The account will not let you save with everything switched off, and warns that at least one login method must remain enabled. Turn the replacement on before turning the old one off.

  4. Tell your team before you save

Anyone currently signing in with a method you are about to remove will be locked out of their usual route. Give them the new method first, especially if they have no password set because they always used Google.

  5. Save and test

Choose Save, then sign in yourself in a private window using an allowed method and confirm the blocked options no longer appear.

How to know it worked

Only the approved sign-in methods appear on the sign-in page for this account.
