Chase and expire unsigned documents
Four settings that decide how long you wait and how often you ask.

When to use this. Documents are sitting unsigned and nobody is following them up.
What you’ll need. A document you are about to send, or one already out for signature.
Open the document's Settings tab
Reminders and expiration are set per document, so a contract and a consent form can behave differently.
Set when the first reminder goes
Days to first reminder controls how long you wait before chasing at all. Too short reads as nagging on a document someone needs to read properly; too long and it is forgotten.
Set how often you keep asking
Days between reminders controls the repeat after the first one. Reminders stop automatically once that recipient completes, so nobody is chased for something they have already done.
Set the expiry
Days to expire closes the link. An expiry is what stops an unsigned agreement sitting open indefinitely, and it gives a natural reason to follow up by hand.
Warn before you expire
Days to warn before expiry sends a heads-up rather than letting the link die silently. A recipient who discovers the link is dead usually blames you, not the clock.
Handle the ones that lapse
An expired document can be reactivated and sent again. You do not need to rebuild it.
How to know it worked
Unsigned documents chase themselves on your schedule and close on a date you chose.
