Send email from your own address
Connect a mailbox or your SMTP server so mail arrives from your domain.

When to use this. Your notifications land in spam, or they arrive from an address your customers do not recognize.
What you’ll need. Owner or admin access, and either a mailbox you can consent with or SMTP details from your mail administrator.
Open Mail Box
Go to Account Management → Mail Box. Until you set this up, transactional email goes out from Formbot's own sender, which is the usual reason messages land in spam or look untrusted.
Choose a mailbox or SMTP
Connecting a Google or Microsoft mailbox over OAuth is the simpler path — there are no credentials to store or rotate. Use custom SMTP when your organization requires its own relay, or when the sending address is not a Google or Microsoft mailbox.
Connect the mailbox
For the OAuth route, choose the provider and complete the consent screen. Sign in as the mailbox that should appear in the From line, not as your personal account.
Or enter SMTP details
For SMTP, enter the host, port, encryption, and credentials your mail administrator gives you. Use a dedicated sending account rather than a person's mailbox, so mail keeps flowing when that person leaves.
Send a test
Use the test option to send yourself a message before relying on it. Check the From address, and check the spam folder as well as the inbox.
Confirm with a real event
Submit a test form or send a document to yourself. Transactional mail should now arrive from your address with your branding.
How to know it worked
A test message arrives from your own address, and real notifications follow the same route.
