Connect an agent through MCP
Give a compatible agent access to Formbot actions.
Open this guide in the help center →
When to use this. Your agent should use Formbot tools to perform a business task.
What you’ll need. A compatible agent client and confirmed Formbot MCP connection instructions.
Get the connection details
Obtain the current Formbot MCP server URL and authentication instructions from your workspace or the Formbot team. This guide does not invent a server endpoint.
Connect the client
Use your agent client’s MCP connection flow with the supplied URL and authentication method. Confirm the account and access scope before completing authorization.
Start with a read or draft
Ask the agent to inspect an intended resource or prepare a draft. Check that it is operating in the correct workspace and that its available tools match your task.
Move to business actions
Specify the goal, resources, recipients, and limits. Review results in the underlying Formbot apps and be explicit about whether the agent should prepare or send.
How to know it worked
A scoped test action affects the intended resource and its result is verified.
