Give each product its own domain

Run Forms, Documents, Apps, and the rest on separate hostnames.

When to use this. Signing should happen on a trusted hostname that is separate from your intake forms.

What you’ll need. Owner or admin access, the products switched on, and DNS access for each hostname.

  1. Decide whether you need this

One account-wide domain is simpler and is the right default. Separate domains are worth it when the products serve different audiences — for example forms.yourcompany.com for intake and esign.yourcompany.com for signing, where a signing hostname carries more trust.

  2. Turn on the products first

Go to Manage Account → Workspace → Module domains. If the page tells you to enable a product first, open Products and switch on what you need — you cannot give a domain to a product that is switched off.

  3. Add a domain per product

All six products can take their own domain, including Chatbot and Reach. Add the hostname for each one you want to separate; anything you leave blank keeps using the account-wide domain.

  4. Point the DNS for each

Every hostname needs its own CNAME record. The same help icon with instructions for ten providers appears for each domain once it is saved and verified.

  5. Set per-domain branding if it differs

Each domain can carry its own logo, mini logo, favicon, and title. Use this when one product is customer-facing under a different brand from the rest.

  6. Verify each one separately

Check the status chip per domain and open each hostname in a private window. One domain verifying does not mean the others have.

How to know it worked

Each product answers on its own hostname with the right branding.
